Natural Heritage Conservation

Natural heritage conservation is the practice of protecting natural resources from loss, damage, or depletion, and of ensuring the preservation of those natural places for future generations. Natural heritage includes indigenous species, habitats and ecosystems, and geological and physiographical elements, features and systems that have scientific, aesthetic, and conservation value.
