Nuclear Power

Description
Nuclear power is the production of electrical energy using nuclear fission within a nuclear reactor to generate heat to power a steam turbine for electricity generation. Radioactive waste is produced as a by-product of nuclear power production. It has challenged sustainable energy thinkers because it produces few greenhouse gases in its life cycle but is a long-term waste storage hazard.
