SAFE, Inc is an action-oriented, nonpartisan organization that aims to reduce America's dependence on oil, addressing business and technology, politics and advocacy, and public education and media.
SAFE is committed to development of three realistic alternatives to reduce vulnerability to oil price volatility and source disruptions. By decreasing demand, developing fuel alternatives, and increasing supply, SAFE believes implementing policies along these three guidelines will reduce America's oil dependence.
The Relocalization Network supports Local Post Carbon Groups as they work to develop and implement the strategy of Relocalization in their communities. The Relocalization Network Coordinators support the Network by providing on-line communication tools, developing valuable resources, facilitating meaningful and useful connections between Local Groups and cultivating a sense of working together globally on local responses.
