PAREF Woodrose School celebrates Peace Day with an array of classroom based activities. The Primary students will conduct a story telling on "Basura" (Garbage) a book by Ms. Christine Babao promoting environmental awareness. They will likewise make pledges for peace which will be turned into a peace chain. The intermediate students will have a film showing (Not One Less) for Grades 4 and 5, the grade 6 and 7 students will write letters address to the legislators and mayors of their respective province to inquire about their projects for promoting peace through nation building. The highlight of the day will be the Prayer for Peace at 12:00 noon on the 21st of September. Candles will be lighted and doves released to cap the prayer.
