It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 6th edition of the European Business Summit, which will take place on 21 and 22 February 2008 at Tour & Taxis in Brussels.

EBS was founded in 2000 as an initiative of the Federation of Enterprises in Belgium (FEB) and the Confederation of European Business (BUSINESSEUROPE). Both federations are strongly committed to the EU growth and jobs agenda and want to contribute to the necessary (economic) reforms in Europe. The 6th EBS is the ideal platform to discuss this, within the framework of today’s mayor issues: climate change, energy policy and eco-innovation.

With the theme Greening the Economy: new Energy for Business, we want to focus on how Europe can turn the “carbon challenge” into a business opportunity, giving new energy to growth and jobs. At EBS 2008, leading business and political figures, NGOs, media and academics from various countries will exchange (business-) climate visions and present (eco-)innovative solutions.

The Networking Village provides innovative companies, governments and organisations with an interest in EU affairs and investments, with the opportunity to present themselves or their products, to build new networks, to attract investors and have a visible impact on the EU decision-making.
