A Solar Living Institute Workshop

Hopland, Ca  

        

This workshop is geared towards those who have a working understanding of Permaculture and want to go deeper into the ways to design and implement, and how to reclaim ones place in a more healthy food sysem, with a special focus in one's local community. We will explore the different models that exsist, from our backyards, to farmers markets and Community Supported Agriculture (CSAs) Participants will leave with actualtools and skills that what would be appriopriate for each participants situation.

 

        

Special emphasis on the importance of Seed Saving, Crop rotations, Farming Water and Soil and community organizing.  Facilitated by Benjamin Fahrer this two day workshop is an amazing opportunity to participate in creating the local food system you and your community want.  Those who are new to permaculture can also register, feel free to  inquire about one's knowledge base.

This looks like a great workshop. I look forward to hearing more and spreading the word. Very crucial topic indeed. I am actively promoting community food garden planting in all the communities I visit.
