Suggestions Report sent to the Tech Team. Due to the technical roadmap, the following list rates suggestions by a combination of its ease in implementation, degree of popularity and importance for basic usability/site-navigation. It recommends to the tech team, small additions and problems which WiserEarth users would like to see addressed.

1. Explanation for a 'send a friend request +7
--The most requested Suggestion so far, relatively quick fix. The invitation feature includes an "explanation" box as well.

3. "Add" Link to Groups pages +4

--As an avid group user, I find myself constantly having to explain to new users that they can add content to their group by going to a profile and clicking "add to my groups". I find it disappointing that many users don't take advantage of this feature. This simple addition would make it much more clear to users how they could use the existing wiserEarth entities for their group.

--Affects the basic ability to have a long conversation with someone on WiserEarth. It's easy to forget what was said in a previous conversation with someone, without it.

5. Control over own profile +4

--This is important for the privacy of WiserEarth users. New users need to feel comfortable on their site, and decide when a comment doesn't belong.

5. Home Button on Every Page +5

--A design issue. On pages where the Home Button needs to take a backseat, perhaps it can be smaller? This would help users who like to navigate groups and WiserEarth at the same time, instead of just one group.

6. "Invite" link more prominent, more places +4

--Important for new users to spread the word and expand the WiserEarth population. Doesn't seem to be a very technical fix, as its just a matter of design and adding more links.

7. Increase to 15-20 Number of Visible Lines in Comment Box +4
--Seems like a quick fix. Is there a way to expand the box if one wishes to? If the box was expanded, one would have to scroll down more to read the text below.

8. Title and Link for Comments +4
--Needed for those long discussion threads. I figure titles can be optional, not sure how much of a tech. fix this is.

9. Please Lose Parasitic "Group" Banner +5

--Something annoying for many of us. Doesn't affect the navigation for experienced users but very likely confuses many new users, as its not clear how the banner was displayed or how it can be removed.

10. Allow embedding in all edit windows +6

--Doesn't affect the site navigation, but very popular suggestion. I imagine this isn't quite a quick fix either, which is why its lower on the list.
