More Details on Conservation Yellow Pages:

• Solutions (aka Best Practices) come in two formats: ‘short’ (where the content resides on another website or in an attachment) and ‘long’ where the content resides in an extended wikipage on the Conservation Yellow Pages on WiserEarth. The mock-up shows the long version. The short version would only have up to the ‘limitations’ section on the main tab. I expect 90%+ of best practices to be short form.
• Solutions are tagged using the IUCN  Direct Threats,  Conservation Actions taxonomies used by the largest conservation NGOs
  
• Solutions have a Network tab to show related people and organizations that support the practice either as service providers, practitioners or funders.
• Solutions have a File Folder for storing documents/pdfs etc
• Solutions are Commented and Rated on – so that feedback results in improvements to the practices and the Best ‘Solutions’ are signaled to the community.
• Solutions can be Reviewed.
• The Conservation Yellow Pages content will likely be available on searches on other key conservation sites (such as  Conserve Online)  within a year.
