About [Edit]
A vision where all people are able to share in the benefits that a quality natural environment can provide and are sufficiently informed to make long term environmentally sensitive choices that better the quality of their lives
Panama, like its neighbors, is a country facing a host of conservation challenges such as pollution, deforestation, erosion and resource over-extraction. However it is usually the poor that are the most affected by these misuses of our natural capital. A logical strategy to combat this situation is to co-invest in social development and natural capital, in order to increase social well being and resource protection
A further element to CREA’s philosophy and actions is to increase, through training programs, a critical mass of competent and trained environmental professionals that serve to carry environmental stewardship ideals to public policy and to serve as mentors and advisors to a developing society.
Above all, CREA looks to building collaborations with national and international organisations, universities and other NGOs, to work with us to consolidate our position and to act to change social dogmas through co-ordinated actions.
