Our mission is to enhance and embrace diversity. Promote GLBT citizens' abilities as equal contributors in the communities they live, regardless of ones religion, national origin, race, or sexual orientation. To help understand that 'diversity' is an asset to be valued as we move well into the 21st century, not a dividing wedge.

10 Percent has grown as an organization comprised of people throughout the world who happen to be gay, lesbian, bisexual as well as, straight allies. Who support gay, lesbian and bisexual concerns without admission of their own sexual orientation.

10 Percent is dedicated to creating an environment free from harassment or discrimination, either by elected city, state, and federal representatives, companies or their employees, making it possible for everyone to perform to their fullest capabilities.

10 Percent will offer support and visibility to its members and serve as the official point of contact between its membership, assist in contacting legislators (at all levels) and promote education to eradicate ignorance.
