About [Edit]

Through the research and information clearinghouse services of the Peace Registry, the Peace Alliance Foundation works to enhance awareness and understanding of a culture of peace, including the extent to which it already exists, and to provide capabilities for networking and co-working among and with individuals and organizations working for a culture of peace.
At its core, the Peace Registry is a continually growing database of organizations and individuals all over the world who promote and act in accordance with principles of peace, nonviolence, compassion, and inclusion, thus both demonstrating that a culture of peace already exists and providing awareness and networking opportunities to foster its expansion. As such, it serves as a resource for the media, researchers, government officials, and the general public.
Beyond being a repository of information on culture-of-peace activities, the Peace Registry actively undertakes projects to frame and disseminate that information – through conferences, newsletters, web marketing, research papers, and other networking and outreach activities – in ways that leverage the content to foster the emergence of a culture of peace.
We invite your participation in helping us build the Peace Registry and, hence, a culture of peace. At the Nomination page, you will find guidelines and an on-line form for recommending candidate organizations and individuals for inclusion in the Peace Registry.
We invite you to search the Peace Registry for organizations and individuals whom you may want to network with or find out more about. At our Search page, you will find guidelines and an on-line form you can use to identify Peace Registry entries that meet location, scope, or work focus criteria you may specify.
As you use the Peace Registry to nominate or search for practitioners of a culture of peace, think of it as an opportunity to go out into your community and network with the people who are working to build a culture of peace. Sharing this information through the Peace Registry will reveal the many ways that a culture of peace has already seeded itself in your community and around the world, and will encourage others to start “seeing” what they are beginning to “believe” is true – that peace is possible, and that we the people do want peace and are willing to work together to make certain that a culture of peace becomes the prevailing paradigm.
