About

Hello!  My name is Brant and I live in Southeastern Wisconsin.  I joined WiserEarth after reading Paul Hawken's "Blessed Unrest."

I was given the book as part of a goodie bag while attending USGBC's GreenBuild Conference in Chicago last year.

I have a degree in mechanical engineering and I work for a consulting engineering firm that designs HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other systems for buildings.

I am interested in renewable energy, energy efficiency, air conditioning systems, construction, computers, the internet, movies, music, and recycling.

I am a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and also an officer in my local chapter.

I hope to get my professional engineering license and become a LEED accredited professional within the next five years.
