I am an environmental activist based in Torreon, Mexico, right in the heart of the Chihuahuan Desert.
I am also a birdwatcher and a bicycle commuter and advocate.

I have a newspaper column in La Opinion-Milenio, and two radio programmes in Grupo Radio Estereo Mayran (880 AM): Contexto Ambiental, a weekly radio column on the environment and Notas de Campo a weekly program on the progression of seasons in our part of the desert.
