About
Here's a bit a bout me (borrowed from my FaceBook profile):
Interests:
Saving the world. From what? The Humans. The good news is that I've identified the root of all human-perceived problems: it's our mentalities - our ways of interpreting and relating with our world. Thus, my primary work is utilizing media to communicate in a way that influences people's world views, specifically to encourage holistic, ecological ways of understanding ourselves and our world.
Activities:
Hiking, climbing, sea kayaking, meditation, chi gong, Web development, reading, making music (guitar, vocal, harmonica & bamboo flute)
Favorite Music:
Music with Feeling - all styles
Favorite TV Shows:
I've never owned a TV, but when I'm in front of one I mostly like to watch HD National Geographic and similar channels. I also love movies.
Favorite Books:
Eckhart Tolle's "The Power of Now" & "A New Earth", Chogyam Trungpa's "Cutting Through Spiritual Materialism", Pema Chodron's "When Things Fall Apart", Shunryu Suzuki's "Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind", plus a whole lot more on many other subjects including everything from communication to economics to computer programming and design.
