About
Facilitator for a Symposium on Sustainable Living: The 'Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream' Symposium. WWW.AWAKENINGTHEDREAMER.ORG
OUR PURPOSE: To bring forth an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling and socially just human presence on the planet as a guiding principle of our time..
Nourishment of the human spirit and healing our environment, naturally come forth from a foundation of social justice for all races and cultures. This Symposium can be tailored for each group and/or community. Networking/action groups are a vital part of each event.
During the day there are video clips from some of the worlds most respected thinkers, along with inspiring short films, leading edge information and engaging group interactions.
The Symposium allows participants to gain new insights into the very nature of our time, and the opportunity we have to shape and impact the direction of our world with our everyday choices and action.
At the end of the day, participants have more freedom to think, discover and initiate, the actions that are appropriate for them.
These actions will forward our common goal of creating a sustainable future for our children, our diverse communities, and the water, land, food, plants and animals of our world.
The ‘Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream' Symposium was developed by The Pachamama Alliance. http://www.pachamama.org/
The Pachamama Alliance is a U.S. based, non-profit organization that works primarily with indigenous groups in the Amazon basins of Ecuador and Peru. The work is environmentally oriented and social-justice oriented (since environmental issues end up being social justice issues).
